To be a champion of positive opportunities and an agent of beneficial change for Taranaki and its people now and in the future.
Kia tu hei kaihapai ki te whakatairanga i nga kowhiringa, a, hei kaiwhakawhanake i nga iwi o Taranaki ki anamata.
With a focus on Child and Youth Wellbeing.
As an organisation we are focused on our commitment to proactively working with others to contribute to the success and wellbeing of Taranaki and its people.
The Trust has recently adopted a new Strategic Overview with a bold new Vision to guide the Trust into the future, as we actively work with others to invest in, facilitate and co-create opportunities for beneficial change in Taranaki.
Central to our new Vision is the Trust’s intention to focus on the improvement of regional child and youth wellbeing outcomes, with a focus on the Early Years, in collaboration with our regional communities. It’s important to note however, that the Trust will continue supporting the wide range of community organisations and activities that help make Taranaki the great place it is!
Our new focus has emerged over time as we have explored new ways to engage with our communities and increasingly taken a proactive approach; both contributing to, and leading discussions, and participating in collaborative initiatives.
In recent years the Trust has grown significantly as an organisation. We've increased in size and grown our asset base. The philanthropic sector we are a part of is also growing and changing, exploring new ways to create greater impact and value.
It is clear that in today’s world, positive, lasting change requires long term commitment and a collaborative approach. As we move into the future we’re positive about the potential we have in Taranaki, to support community aspirations, face challenges, combine our strengths and work together to create a beneficial difference!
